UPDATED: New trailer published March 2021
Hi. I’m Adam Williams, creator and host of the Humanitou Podcast.
This podcast, which launched this month, is the next step in the evolution of Humanitou, a website that has shined light on humanness and creativity for nearly three years now.
During more than 75 interviews in that time — all published as readable Q+As at humanitou.com — we explored the full range of the human experience. And we’ll continue to do that with the podcast, getting into all the joyful, messy, true-life bits of being human.
… discussing things like love and relationships, struggle and resilience, creativity, inspiration and being our authentic selves. Spirituality and faith weigh in, as do matters of politics, death, gender expression and so on … All the universal stuff of humanness.
And Humanitou will continue to recognize the value of inclusivity and diversity in these stories, as well. Representation matters. Hearing from voices and places of experience we otherwise might not … matters.
Humanitou is about cultivating a space for vulnerable, courageous dialogue and sharing. Along the way, I’ll share some pieces of myself, and of my own practices of humanness and creativity. We’re all in this together.
And in the process, I’m challenging all of us to truly listen, with openness and empathy, to others’ stories and to hear ourselves in them. Together, we will challenge the truths we hold about ourselves and each other.
